7:15 pm: The Georgia Center for the Book presents Andrew Carroll at the Decatur Library. In his new book Grace Under Fire: Letters of Faith in Times of War, Carroll gives us an extraordinary, moving record of the importance of religion and spirituality to troops and their families from the American Revoluntion to the fighting in Iraq, 404.370.3070
8pm: The Arts at Emory and coordinator Richard Pryor invite you to a night of music with the Emory Chamber Ensembles. Trios, quartets, quintets and sextets of different instrumentation perform a variety of chamber music, 404.727.5050
The Decatur Arts Alliance is a nonprofit partnership of artists, business owners, residents and government dedicated to supporting and enhancing the arts in the city of Decatur. The DAA sponsors the annual Decatur Arts Festival as well as special art events for members only. It also provides a collaborative environment to coordinate the interests of artists, gallery owners, theater groups, dance groups and performance venues within Decatur and to help build the image of the city as a strong arts community.
